Matthew leads HiPR-LS as founding Centre Director. His research spans computational fluid dynamics, turbulent combustion, and high-speed reacting flows — directly underpinning the R1 Propulsion Systems theme. He brings extensive experience leading large multi-institutional research programs and strong ties to the Australian defence and space sectors.
